A partnership with a local developer led to the construction of a new water storage tank in the new June Lake community.
The 3 million gallon Water Storage Tank was built through a joint-development agreement with Buckner Lane Partners, with an even 50% split of the costs.
The development needed 1.5 million gallons of water, with the City needing an additional 1.5 million to help service the north end of Spring Hill. This brought the total city cost of the project to $2.7 million.
The project was approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) at the November 7, 2022 meeting.
Construction began in March of 2023.
