United States Flag Status

The City of Spring Hill follows State and Federal guidance regarding the status of the American Flag at City Hall, whether it is displayed at full or half staff.

You can find the current flag status by clicking here.

The City of Spring Hill also encourages all residents and businesses to properly display the flag and follow the U.S. Flag Code.

Once an American Flag is worn, torn, or faded beyond repair, it should be retired. The City of Spring Hill has flag retirement boxes at the following City facilities:

  • Spring Hill City Hall — 199 Town Center Parkway
  • Spring Hill Public Library — 144 Kedron Parkway
  • Fire Station No. 1 — 440 Beechcroft Road
  • Fire Station No. 2 — 4273 Port Royal Road
  • Fire Station No. 3 — 4000 Campbell Station Pkwy

Residents can deposit their worn American flags at the drop boxes above, and the City, or City affiliates, will properly retire the flags.
