2021 Spring Hill Farmers Market Booth Application & Guidelines: Farm, Prepared Food, and Artisan Items

    This application must be completed by both new vendors & returning vendors of the market. Application submission deadline is April 23, 2021. Submitting an application does not guarantee you space in the market. All vendor applications are reviewed and considered by market management.

    Vendor Location Boundaries: Businesses that participate in the Spring Hill Farmers Market must be locally grown and raised produce located within a 50-mile radius of Spring Hill by the vendor themselves. No wholesale brokers will be allowed.

    10% of the gross must be donated to FOSHP. This will be collected via cash or check at the end of each month. Vendors will be responsible for keeping up with their earnings and the percentage they will contribute.

    Spring Hill Farmers Market runs May through September from 3 pm-7 pm. Once accepted, a vendor is expected to attend each market day. We ask that vendor do not miss more than three market days. If unable to come, please notify Sonja or Lane so we can make allowances and not market your product for those dates. Exceptions will be based on need and ability to communicate well with management board and customers (for marketing purposes).

  4. Market goods allowed for sale at the Spring Hill Farmer's Market include:
      Fresh produce & fruits; herbs, flowers, bedding plants; eggs, cheese, dairy products and meats; baked goods, honey and preserves. Products must have been grown and/or produced by the vendor or farm specified on Farm Certificate(s) and within 50 miles of Spring Hill.

      All processed foods sold must comply with all applicable state/federal health and safety regulations. .

      It is the responsibility of each vendor to abide by all state and federal regulations which govern the sampling, production, labeling, or safety of the product the vendor offers for sale at the market.

      Food and food products must be packaged with proper labeling.

      Local arts and crafts are permitted for sale at market. Art and/or rafts must be made or designed by the vendor and produced within 50 miles of Spring Hill.

    To help promote the farmers market we will promote a vendor every two weeks in the Spring Hill paper and on Social media. Below are a set of questions for you to fill out so that when it is your turn to be the Spot Light vendor we will have the information on hand. We will also include a photograph of you (and partners) with the items that you are selling.
  8. I have read the rules, regulations and policies of the Spring Hill Farmers Market and agree to abide by them. I acknowledge that the products I sell at the market must be of my own productions, grown/produced at the farms location(s) listed on my application. I acknowledge full responsibility for all of my activities in the market (and for those assisting in my booth) through the market season. Furthermore, I agree to accept the authority of the market manager/ board in regards to product legitimacy, procedural and vendor conduct violations.

    The undersigned does hereby agree to hold harmless and indemnify Spring Hill Parks and Recreation and Friends of Spring Hill Parks, its employees and agents and Spring Hill, Tennessee, its employees and agents from any claim arising from the conduct of this activity on the city park/city property. The undersigned will not hold Spring Hill Parks and Recreation, Friends of Spring Hill Parks, and/or Spring Hill, Tennessee, its employees and agents responsible for lost, stolen, or broken items. This agreement will be binding on the undersigned’s successors, assigns, or heir. The undersigned freely and voluntarily signs this agreement in consideration of being allowed to participate in the above-described activity.

    I grant to Spring Hill Parks and Recreation, Friends of Spring Hill Parks, and Spring Hill, TN its employees and agents and Spring Hill, Tennessee, its employees, volunteers and agents’ legal representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of me and/or my minor children. Or in which I may be included, for editorial, trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any manner and medium; and to alter and composite the same without restriction and without my inspection or approval. I hereby release Spring Hill Parks and Recreation, Friends of Spring Hill Parks and Spring Hill, TN its employees and agents and Spring Hill, Tennessee, it’s employees, volunteers and agents’ legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.
