Spring Hill was named 2017’s fourth "Best City to Raise a Family in Tennessee" in a recent study from a leading personal finance outlet,

To determine the most suitable places in Tennessee for families to put down roots, WalletHub’s analysts compared 58 TN cities across 21 metrics, ranging from housing affordability to school-system quality to unemployment rate.

Here are some of the areas where Spring Hill was highly ranked among metrics determining the best places to raise a family (1=Best; 29=Avg.):

2nd – % of families with children aged 0 to 17

10th – Median Annual Family Income (Adjusted for Cost of Living)

4th – Quality of school system

7th – High School graduation rate

5th – Violent crime rate

2nd – Housing affordability

7th – % of families living below poverty level

2nd – Unemployment rate
