Congratulations to our very own April Goad who received the 2023 Distinguished Service Award from the TN Association of Municipal Clerks and Recorders!

April has been a mainstay in this community for decades and is a part of the foundation of the City of Spring Hill.

When April was hired in July 1987, Spring Hill was the "Town of Spring Hill" — 12 years prior to becoming the "City of Spring Hill."

She was promoted in 2000 as only the second City Recorder in Spring Hill history.

During her 36-year tenure, she has seen the population of Spring Hill grow from 1,533 to the more than 60,000 residents estimated to live here today.  April has worked side-by-side with hundreds of Aldermen, several Mayors, and countless employees.

She has been dedicated and loyal to the City and its residents, making her truly a pillar of this amazing community.

We could not be more proud of her, and she could not be any more deserving of this honor.
