City of Spring Hill Fire, Police and Public Works departments’ emergency personnel were honored by WKRN-TV Channel 2 on Wednesday for the city’s joint planning and early response to potential floods in the middle Tennessee region.
News 2 anchor Mary Mays interviewed Spring Hill Mayor Jim Hagaman and met city emergency department chiefs and personnel, as part of the WKRN’s “News 2 Gives Back.”
Mays and her crew produced a live segment featuring the mayor and emergency responders
in front of an array of fire and police vehicles parked outside the Spring Hill Public Library near
City Hall.
“Our first responders—including police, fire and public works—are first-rate,” said Mayor Jim Hagaman. “And so is WKRN for recognizing them for their jobs well done.”
The event concluded after lunch for 30 people inside the library provided by WKRN from Nashville’s Chicken Guy!
