OCTOBER 2020 UPDATE: The first public meeting was held on 9/22/20 with positive response.  NEPA documents have been submitted to TDOT.  Once NEPA has been approved, the Design NTP should be issued and design can be finalized.

The City of Spring Hill was awarded mid-2018 an Active Transportation Grant (ATP) from the MPO of $598,008 requiring a match of $149,502 match for the planning, preliminary engineering, environmental and r.o.w. acquisition for a greenway between Harvey Park and Tanyard Springs. This phase must be completed within three years from the award date. We have two years left to complete the work. Contracts have been signed with CT Consultants who were given authorization to work on March 18th. Preliminary engineering and NEPA is underway. The City was awarded a grant for the construction funds. Construction must begin by Sept. 30, 2023 and be completed by Sept. 30, 2025.
