WELCOME TO THE SPRING HILL PUBLIC LIBRARY


The mission of the Spring Hill Public Library is to connect and strengthen our community through knowledge, resources, and opportunities while seeking to inspire and nurture innovation, discovery, and delight.

Here you'll find a gathering place to meet and share ideas while fostering a lifelong appreciation of reading and learning both inside and outside of the library’s walls.

Spring Hill Public Library Board of Trustees (LBOT)

The Spring Hill Public Library Board is appointed by the Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The duties of the Library Board are set forth by Tennessee Code Annotated, Title10, Chapter 3.

The Spring Hill Public Library Board of Trustees (LBOT) sets library policy and abides by these bylaws. Signed copies are available for viewing at the Library.

Unless otherwise posted, the LBOT typically meets in the Library Multipurpose Room at 6:00 on the 2nd Tuesday of each odd month (January, March, May, July, September and November). Everyone is welcome to attend and will be given an opportunity to speak.

The procedural rules for public comment will be as follows: The items will be taken in the order of the agenda; audience members wishing to speak must be recognized by the Chair and will have five (5) minutes to address the Library Board of Trustees; no rebuttal remarks will be allowed. 

Submit an application for consideration to serve on the LBOT. The Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) reviews applications in June or July of each year, then votes for a September appointment.
