A Universe of Stories

June 1 - July 18

at the Spring Hill Public Library

Ready to read "out of this world"?

ASTRONAUTS, HERE IS YOUR MISSION:

1...

First
, register all readers in Beanstack any time between June 1 and July 15 (not before or after).
Beanstack will help you track your titles and minutes, as well as recommend new books you might enjoy.

Next,
you can choose to check your books and audiobooks out at the library,
or log in to READS (with Libby) or Tumblebooks for e-books or e-audio,
or even read books, magazines or comics you find elsewhere.
Just choose something that challenges you and interests you...it's all good!
(No, it doesn't have to be Science Fiction or about space -- but try it, you might like it!)

Meanwhile,
pack in as many Summer Reading events as you can!
Register here for events requiring pre-registration (up to 2 weeks in advance).
*Astro-note about registering for library programs:
If you sign-up, but suddenly can't attend, please cancel ASAP
so another astronaut who was wait-listed can enjoy.
It's the universally cosmic thing to do!

BLAST OFF!

You will earn astronaut badges in Beanstack as you read.
These badges will earn you prizes that you'll learn about during the Summer Reading Kick-Off on June 1st.

The more reading badges you collect, the better the prizes you will earn!
Prizes will also be awarded for most thoughtful book reviews as well.
Grand prizes will go to the one who reads the most minutes in each age group.

You won't know how the other astronauts are doing, so just strive for your personal best!
Prizes will be awarded on July 17 & 18, but not before.
Stay tuned!

The program is open to all ages, competing in the following brackets:
