• The Public Works Department's mission is to provide ongoing maintenance services necessary to protect the City's infrastructure investment. Examples of maintenance services include the installation and/or repair of potholes and other street failures, curbs and gutters, pavement markings, street signs, removal of street debris, right-of-way mowing, small drainage repairs, and the chipper service. |

| Chipper Service |

| The chipper service provided to Spring Hill residences is one of the most popular services of the Public Works Department. In an effort to provide this service in a cost-effective manner, the Department makes daily rounds through the area and dispatches the chipper as needed. To schedule brush pick up call City Hall at (931) 486-2252. Your help is needed in the delivery of this service. |

| • Stack brush as close to the curb as possible |
| • If possible stack with the cut end toward the curb |
| • No brush pieces should be longer than 12 feet |
| • Stumps are not permitted as they will not fit in the chipper |
| • No wire fencing or metal material is permitted |
| • NOTE: Commercial tree trimming will not be accepted and must be hauled away by the trimming company. |
| • Junk and other old appliances will only be picked up on FRIDAYS |
