The Spring Hill Police Department is once again sponsoring the ‘Giving Tree‘ in partnership with Spring Hill Fresh.
SHPD has sponsored a gift-giving event every year to help ensure Christmas gifts for hundreds of local needy, elementary school children who might not have anything under the tree otherwise.
This year, the focus of the ‘Giving Tree‘ will expanded to also help local Veterans and elderly who have been identified as needing some help this Christmas!
Each year they have served approximately 100 children with the help of our community, local businesses and civic organizations donating gifts and money.
You and/or your business can sponsor a child, military veteran, or senior by signing up for a gift on the online Giving Tree sign-up sheet found at the link below. We will continue to add to this list up until our cut-off date.

The Spring Hill Turkey Burn course will be highlighted as one of the city’s biggest attractions. The organizer does its best to hold races to the highest quality standards, from start to finish. The course design, accuracy, barriers, water stations and running course will be intently laid out for runners' safety. Safety is the main concern.
Guaranteed T-shirt when you register before or on Nov. 12, 2018. First, second and third-place finisher prizes, and all finishers will receive a race medal.
November 24, 2018, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM @ Homestead Manor
A day of holiday fun and shopping for all. Due to the popularity of the event, there have been a few changes. The barn will be transformed into “Santa’s workshop” for the kids, allowing for an opportunity to take pictures with Santa in front of the beautiful fireplace, craft stations, and story time with Santa’s helpers. Some 30+ local vendors will be setup in a large enclosed tent on the green space behind the Manor to cater to over 4,000 guests of all ages throughout the day. There will also be a variety of food trucks on site for everyone to enjoy, as well as Hattie Jane’s Creamery to sweeten things up.
